2024 Little River Trail Runs

DATE: Sunday, December 17, 2023
TIME: 9am
WHERE: Little River Regional Park
DISTANCES: There will be groups running the 7k and parts of the 10mi course
MORE: Registered runners, come join us for approximately an hour on Sun 12/17/2023 for a preview of the LRTR course. Meet us at the playground at the park. Bring hydration and snacks. We will have several groups at different paces. You will not be dropped!
ABOUT THE RACE
We will offer both 10 mile and 7k races on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
In-Person Race Times: Saturday, January 6, 2024
10 mile: 9:00am Orange Flags
7k: 9:30am Blue Flags
Location The race will be held at the beautiful Little River Regional Park, on the border between Durham and Orange Counties. The park offers visitors over 15 miles of single-track trails, comfortable pavilions for picnics, and a playground for kids (the River Rambler is a great online newsletter for Little River Regional Park).
As always, race proceeds benefit Little River Regional Park. Over the last 19 years, our event has resulted in over $134,500 in donations to the park. Please help us to continue to support Little River Regional Park and local single track trails!
The Race Course All courses will be well marked with flags, tape, and signage.
Aid stations There will be one aid stations on the 7k course, and a total of 3 aid stations along the 10 mile course. Aid stations will have water and friendly, supportive faces.
In-Person Race Awards There will be awards for Overall and Masters M/F winners, along with prizes for the top in each age group.
Packet Pickup:
Location: Bull City Running, SoDu location (202 W. NC 54, Durham)

Time: 2:30pm – 5:45pm
You can also pick up your packet the day of the race at the picnic pavilion starting at 7:30am, but please leave yourself time to stand in line. Thanks!
